Morgan Hinchcliffe

​Prior to forming Alchemist with Scott, Morgan spent 10 years with Pioneer Natural Resources focused on field development, reservoir engineering and planning.

Morgan was the Permian Field Development Manager, leading a multi-disciplinary team of 35 professionals tasked with directing Pioneer’s $3 billion per year development plan. While forming Alchemist, Morgan consulted for a private Midland Basin company where he managed the subsurface planning and optimization of a 21-well horizontal program.

Morgan earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2006 and his ME in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2008.
